Traditional lead-acid batteries, due to their slow charging, heavy maintenance, and short lifespan, are being rapidly replaced by lithium batteries.
48V Platform Becomes Mainstream
For warehousing environments, 48V lithium-ion forklifts have become the industry efficiency benchmark. Analysis indicates that compared to the 70%-80% discharge efficiency of lead-acid batteries, the 48V lithium battery platform can achieve an efficiency of over 95%. Its lightweight design (weighing approximately one-third that of lead-acid batteries) significantly improves forklift mobility and energy economy.
Charging Infrastructure: High-Frequency Intelligent Chargers Become a Necessity
With the widespread adoption of lithium batteries in industrial vehicles, supporting charging infrastructure has also undergone technological upgrades. Modern lithium-ion forklift chargers are no longer simple power conversion devices, but rather intelligent terminals integrating CAN bus communication and a battery management system (BMS).
